iBill.ca is in its launch period. Every feature listed above is available at no cost while we validate the product with real Canadian businesses. Paid plans may be introduced in the future, and existing users will receive advance notice with details on transitioning. Read more below.
iBill.ca is a Canadian-built product. Instead of guessing what Canadian small businesses need, we're using the launch period to learn from people actually running their books day-to-day. Your feedback shapes what gets built next — that's worth more than a subscription fee right now.
Every feature on the list above is unlocked. We're not running a trial that strips features when it ends, and we're not gating the things you actually need (tax reports, accounting, multi-currency) behind a "Pro" wall. If it's built, you can use it.
There is no credit card on file. There can't be a surprise charge — your card isn't there to charge. If paid plans launch later, you'll be told in advance, by email, with full details about what changes and what stays the same. You opt in or you don't.
Export invoices, clients, payments, and accounting records from your account settings at any time. Delete your account whenever you choose — financial records that CRA requires us to retain are anonymized rather than held against you.
How iBill.ca thinks about pricing today, and how it will work when paid plans launch.
iBill.ca is currently in its launch period. Every feature is available at $0/month while we validate the product with real Canadian businesses. There is no credit card required, no usage cap, and no per-invoice charge. You get the full product — invoicing, double-entry accounting, multi-currency, Stripe payments, CCA depreciation, audit trails — at no cost.
As the product matures, paid plans may be introduced with monthly or annual subscription pricing. Existing users will be notified by email well in advance with clear details about the new pricing, what's included, and how the transition will work. There will be no surprise billing — you will not see a charge on a card you did not explicitly authorize.
Businesses that sign up during the launch period will be offered preferred terms if and when paid plans go live. This is our way of thanking the early adopters who helped validate the product. Sign up now to lock in early-adopter status.
You own your data. You can export your invoices, clients, payments, and accounting records from your account settings at any time, and delete your account whenever you choose. iBill.ca does not hold your data hostage if you decide a different solution is right for your business.
Most invoicing software is priced based on the number of clients or invoices — which penalizes you for growing. iBill.ca is committed to a fairer model that doesn't punish success. We're using the launch period to figure out what pricing actually serves Canadian small businesses, instead of copying what global competitors charge. When we announce pricing, you'll know exactly what you're paying for and why.
iBill.ca is in active development. We're committed to being upfront about pricing — here's exactly what you can expect:
